Services
• Home visitation
• Center-based services
• Basic parenting, life skills, communication skills, child development education and coaching, as well as linking families to other community-based services (e.g. food, housing, counseling)
• We offer services in English, Mien, Cantonese, and other Asian languages
• Hours are Monday through Saturday, including evenings
Population Served
• West County families living in
North Richmond, “Old” San Pablo, and Richmond’s Coronado and Iron Triangle Neighborhoods (zip codes 94801, 94804, and 94806)
• Families who are reluctant to participate in community programs
• High-needs families
• African-American and Asian families who are pregnant or have
infants 0-4 months old • Families need to meet all the
descriptive criteria to become clients
Who We Are
Hand to Hand is a voluntary, no fee program for pregnant and parenting mothers with infants ages four
months and younger. Once enrolled, services are available for up to one year.
